ForceDUT ecopower vehicle

This is a professional national competition, called 'Honda Eco Mileage Challenge'. I have dedicated two years of my undergrad student life participating in this competition and eventually became the team leader. Each year we would receive a single-cylinder motorcycle engine from Honda, and build a drivable vehicle all by ourselves. My most memorable building process of the vehicle was the car shell. Where we first handcrafted a mold using foam boards and then applied resin-covered carbon fiber cloth. The goal of the competition is to be as fuel-efficient as possible and we would compete via driving for 10 km on the formula one track in Guangzhou. Our final result was 540 km/L and ranked 6th out of 72 teams, for that we won the national 1st prize.
